Right Where the Atlantic Ocean Sees
Right where the Atlantic Ocean sees the ritzy Hamptons, there is an extensive estate that is now the classiest property on the market in New York with an asking value of $175 million.
Right Where the Atlantic Ocean Sees

AREA:

The estate, built for the Ford family of Ford Motor Company, sits on a rambling 42 acres that includes a castle that is filled with luxurious services ranging from its own public library to a 60-foot heated pool.

INTERIOR:

Completely renewed in 2008, the 20,000 square-foot house on the property boasts 12 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and a large chef’s kitchenette. The property, known as Jule Pond, looks out onto a sector mile of ocean on the preferred (and pricey) Hamptons beach. It has the largest ocean façade, the length of land that faces the ocean, in the area, according to Bespoke Property Advisor, which holds the listing.
Aside from the roomy bed-and-bath offerings, the property is filled with all kinds of landscapes including three ponds, a separate spa, an outdoor kitchen, a basketball court and a tennis court. There is also a three-bedroom Presence house, glasshouse and a six-car garage on the house.

PRICE:

Situated on the shores of Southampton, Jule Pond surpasses the median home price of $3.795 million for oceanfront house, according to estimates from Trulia.
While one of the classiest houses listed in the U.S. currently, Jule Pond is still inexpensive than a Bel-Air estate in California that is currently listed for $350 million. The Chartwell House has a larger castle on its property, though it only sits on 10.3 acres.
